The personal Sword of General Sardar Sham Singh Attariwala which bears the inscription “ Aes Khando Kharag tabak aur teer saif Saroohi Sahethi yehi hamare peer” meaning that it is these weapon i.e Khanda bow and arrows that they live by our side and are like our God. The metalpins in the blade can poison if some one is even wounded by this sword. The Sword is with the Family of Colonel Sardar Harinder Singh Attari.
Visit of Col Harinder Singh Attari, Chairman GSSSA Trust to U.K. from 16th to 25th Sep 2007
Col Harinder Singh Attari, General Secretary GSSSA Trust visited U.K from 16th Sept. to 25th Sept. on invitation from Maharaja Dalip Singh Trust and Anglo Sikh Heritage Trail (U.K) to deliver lectures at Royal Armouries Museum Leeds (U.K) and Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery, Birmingham (U.K). During his visit he also visited Lichfield Cathedral and Staffordshire Regiment Museum and had the unique experience of seeing the Battle standards of Battle of Sabraon and old maps and details of the battle.
